The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting on improving social services

Today, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting to discuss the draft "National Program to improve the system of social services in Turkmenistan for 2024-2028". This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The consultative meeting was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and departments of the country, members of public associations, heads and staff of the UN offices operating in Turkmenistan.

Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan M. Byashimova noted the effectiveness of cooperation with the UN in the preparation of National Programs of medium and long-term nature, including the program "Improvement of the social protection system through the introduction of inclusive quality social services at the local level". The main indicators of the SDGs were taken into account in the development of this program.
