Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan to participate in TURKSOY meeting

The 40th meeting of the Permanent Council of Ministers of Culture of the member countries of the International Turkic Culture Organization will be held in Shusha city of Azerbaijan on October 13-14. This is reported by the Internet publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

According to TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf, the event will be attended by the ministers of culture of the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. During the meeting of the ministers of culture of TURKSOY countries will be considered topical issues of the Organization's activities, plan of activities for the next 2024 year, decision-making within the framework of TURKSOY work.

The city of Shusha was not chosen as the venue of the event by chance - in 2023 it is the cultural capital of the Turkic world. In 2024, this title will pass to the Turkmen city of Anau.
