National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway during his working trip to Mary province. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".
A section of the Ashgabat-Mary highway is at the final stage of construction. The 600 km Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway will increase the capacity of the country's road infrastructure and improve the quality of logistics and transit services.
Upon completion of works on the Ashgabat-Mary section, the construction of the Mary-Turkmenabat road section will be launched. Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with the working conditions of specialists and equipment used in the construction of the road.
