On December 25, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with the progress of construction of a new complex of buildings of the International Scientific-Clinical Center of Oncology being built in the northern part of Ashgabat on the territory of Choganly residential complex, TDH reports.
Here the Minister of Health and Medical Industry M. Mammadov and the responsible for the construction of the largest in the region modern International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology N. Amannepesov showed to doctor Arkadag the projects of objects of the new health care complex, drawings of their location and features of its equipment.
In the 500-bed International Research and Clinical Center for Oncology, special attention will be paid to the level of safety of medical services.
It is planned to house specialized diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation departments specializing in modern methods of treatment of oncological diseases.
Among the main tasks of today doctor Arkadag designated the provision of medical services in the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology on the basis of cooperation with leading clinics of the world, improving the professional level of oncologists, organizing training of clinical residents and researchers.
Then, the National Leader of the Turkmen people held a working meeting with the participation of the Minister of Health and Medical Industry M. Mammadov and N. Amannepesov, responsible for the construction of the International Scientific-Clinical Center of Oncology, during which it was reported on the prepared program of activities in the subordinate structures, increasing the level of medical services provided to the population, increasing the pace of construction of the new center, as well as its equipment in accordance with modern requirements
Hero-Arkadag expressed dissatisfaction with the activities carried out by the Ministry, making a number of remarks regarding the organizational work of the Ministry, mastering modern achievements of science and introducing scientific achievements in the field of health care, in the activities of higher educational institutions, departmental institutions, establishing effective work in scientific centers.
Addressing the Minister of Health and Medical Industry M. Mammadov, scientist Arkadag instructed to establish a department of intellectual analysis in the Directorate of International Medical Centers and International Scientific and Educational Center and pay special attention to providing it with qualified specialists. Hero Arkadag also noted the importance of uniting these health care institutions and oncology centers of velayats into a single intellectual network in order to establish continuous communication for coordinated and effective work of doctors.
Great importance should be attached to the training of specialists possessing modern scientific knowledge and innovative technologies at the International Scientific and Educational Center for Health Care and establishing joint work with scientists of the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology. Among the priority tasks the problems of disease prevention, their analysis and determination of correct measures of treatment of detected diseases are defined. This is the main condition for effective medical care in the country.
The Center should always be in direct contact not only with medical institutions of our country, but also with the leading international medical centers of the world. A great place should be given to mutual exchange of opinions, experience and joint work.
Doctor of Medical Sciences, scientist Arkadag emphasized the expediency of building modern residential houses, schools, kindergartens and health house for doctors and their families in the northern corner of the capital, instructing the relevant leaders to study these issues in depth.
