National Leader of the Turkmen People arrives in China

National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has arrived in the People's Republic of China to participate in the III High-Level Forum "One Belt, One Road". This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

After arriving at Shoudou Airport in Beijing, Chairman Halk Maslakhaty met with officials of China and Turkmenistan. Within the framework of the visit, Chairman Halk Maslakhaty is scheduled to participate in the Forum, as well as negotiations with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on the issues of comprehensive strategic partnership.

China's international initiative "One Belt, One Road" is aimed at expanding and improving existing and creating new trade and transportation corridors that connect more than 60 countries in Central Asia, Europe and Africa. The initiative is designed to promote trade and economic cooperation between the countries.
