Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has invited Turkmen President Serdar Berdymukhamedov to visit Yerevan. This is stated in Pashinyan's message on the occasion of the President of Turkmenistan's birthday, published in today's issue of the newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan.
"I would like to emphasize our continued interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Armenia and Turkmenistan on the basis of friendship, respect, trust and consideration of interests and reiterate the invitation to visit Armenia at a time convenient for you," the message reads.
Pashinyan expressed his conviction that under the leadership of Serdar Berdymukhamedov Turkmenistan will continue to follow the path of prosperity and progress, relying on the status of neutrality, contribute to strengthening peace and security, ensuring stable development in the world.
Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan also congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday and noted that the warm, friendly relations and mutual understanding between the peoples of Armenia and Turkmenistan are a solid foundation for the development of cooperation in various fields and adding new initiatives to the bilateral agenda.
