UN representative holds talks with the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan

On April 6, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov met online with Olga Algayerova, Deputy UN Secretary General and Executive Secretary of the UNECE. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The purpose of the talks was to discuss cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN Economic Commission for Europe. The parties discussed Turkmenistan's preparations for the 70th session of the UNECE and the Ministerial Meeting of the UN Special Program for the Economies of the Central Asian Region.

Rashid Meredov also shared with the UN representative his opinion on the work carried out on the construction of Arkadag city, and the prospects for increasing the importance of the city in the UNECE space were identified.
