Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Uzbekistan Sh. Meredov presents copies of credentials

On August 24, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Meredov presented copies of his credentials to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Uzbek Foreign Minister congratulated the Turkmen diplomat on his appointment and expressed readiness to support him in carrying out his diplomatic mission.

In continuation of the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for further development of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
The Turkmen Ambassador to Uzbekistan, in turn, assured that he would make every effort for fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.
