The Turkish Embassy in Turkmenistan held solemn events dedicated to three dates at once: the 500th anniversary of the Turkish diplomatic service, the 103rd anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the 31st anniversary of the opening of the Turkish Embassy in Turkmenistan. A new coat of arms of the Turkish Embassy was presented during the celebrations. This is reported in the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
Within the framework of the celebrations, a thematic photo exhibition was opened at the Turkish Embassy, where photo works reflecting the stages of formation of Turkish diplomacy and the main milestones in the history of foreign policy of the state are presented.
The invited guests include representatives of diplomatic missions, international organizations, representatives of business and mass media.
Togan Oral, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan, delivered a welcoming speech. He emphasized that Turkey and Turkmenistan cherish the established diplomatic relations in various spheres based on the interconnection of cultural, historical, linguistic and religious factors.
