Within the framework of the OGT-2024 conference, Chairman of Turkmennebit State Corporation Guvanch Agadjanov noted the importance of development of the petrochemical sector for the national economy of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the online edition "Westiabad."
It was emphasized that further development of the petrochemical sector of the country is facilitated by the availability of vast hydrocarbon reserves. Special attention is now being paid to environmental aspects - the development of sustainable energy and renewable energy sources allows reducing the negative impact on nature.
Agadjanov emphasized that Turkmenistan is open for international cooperation to implement joint projects on the development of the hydrocarbon sector, transition to sustainable and environmentally friendly energy sources.
