Spokespersons of Turkmenistan attended a hackathon workshop by BOMCA 10

A regional seminar-hackathon for press secretaries of border, customs and migration services of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent from October 22 to 24 this year. This is reported by the Internet edition Asman News.

The workshop was organized by the Border Management Assistance Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) with the support of the European Union and was co-sponsored by European experts.

This was the first workshop attended by 13 spokespersons from all 5 Central Asian countries. The workshop included practical exercises to improve communication and learn new methods of covering migration management and customs control issues. The workshop meeting allowed participants to share experiences of press services at the regional level and improve their communication strategies.
