President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the founder and head of the Korean company "Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd." Jong Won-Joo on May 29, as reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The businessman expressed interest in developing bilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan. The parties highlighted the development of the chemical industry, where the use of innovative equipment and environmental safety are necessary, as a promising area of partnership.

The President of Turkmenistan noted interest in the proposals of Korean partners on the implementation of chemical industry projects, in particular, in the design and construction of production facilities for phosphorus, ammonia and urea.
