From 5 to 15 February in Tokyo, representatives of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics took part in seminars on the program of joint knowledge creation in the field of statistical methods, organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The meeting was devoted to the main aspects of the formation of resource tables and the use of their further transformation. Training participants, including representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency and profile departments of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, made presentations on improvement and modernization of national statistical systems, improvement of quality and reliability of statistical estimates of main macroeconomic indicators.
