During the last meeting of experts of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on fees and charges, an agreement was reached to optimize fees and charges levied on carriers of the two countries in the process of international transportation. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
In the course of the bilateral meeting the possibility of accelerating the signing of the draft intergovernmental agreement on simplification of visa procedures for participants of international cargo transportation on the territories of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan was considered.
The Turkmen side expressed interest in studying the experience of Uzbek colleagues in the transition to the "E-permit" system. This system allows for the electronic exchange of permit forms in an online format.
