Head of Turkmenistan hears the report of the Chairman of the Mejlis

During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova presented a report on the results of legislative support of socio-economic development of the country. This is reported by Centralasia.news.

It was noted in the report that students of the Academy of Public Service under the President of Turkmenistan attended seminars to improve their qualifications. Also, during the reporting period, a seminar of the working group on drafting a new edition of the Civil Code of Turkmenistan was held.

The Mejlis of Turkmenistan continues its work on strengthening inter-parliamentary ties with international organizations. The Chairperson of the Mejlis reported on the results of negotiations with the Chinese delegation.
Majlis deputies also participated in seminars on gender equality and the drafting of a national report on the fulfillment of obligations under the Convention on the Rights of Women.
