Turkmenistan President Receives Presidents of International and Asian Tennis Federations

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with President of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) David Haggerty and President of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) Yuri Polsky on March 27. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The guests expressed interest in developing cooperation with Turkmenistan in the context of promoting sports and popularizing healthy lifestyles. David Haggerty presented President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with a Certificate from the International Tennis Federation.

Turkmenistan has been a member of the International Tennis Federation since 1993 and a member of the Asian Tennis Federation since 2001. The Turkmen side proposed to use the country's sports infrastructure for international tournaments, training camps and master classes.
