The Head of Turkmenistan addressed the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian Countries

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov spoke at the Sixth Consultative Meeting of Heads of Central Asian Countries. This is reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today.

In his speech, the head of Turkmenistan noted that preserving peace, security and stability is an important priority of regional cooperation. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the common position of the countries of the Central Asian five on the issues of ensuring effective development of the region, integrated into global relations while preserving its identity, independence and the right to choose its external and internal development strategy.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov also emphasized the inadmissibility of Central Asian countries being drawn into conflicts and any spheres of influence.
