A number of documents on cooperation were signed between the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian at the summit talks held today. This is reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today.
The talks resulted in the signing of the Plan of Cooperation for 2025-2026 between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries. Among the signed documents are the Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port of Turkmenistan and the Amirabad Port of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the Memorandum of Understanding between the State Corporation "Turkmengaz" and the National Gas Company of Iran.
The meeting also resulted in the signing of the Action Plan on deepening and expanding cooperation between the state customs authorities of Turkmenistan and Iran on August 28, 2024.
