Turkmenistan and Korea discuss cooperation within the framework of the 78th session of the UNGA

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with President of the Republic of Korea Yun Seok Yeol on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UNGA in New York. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized, these talks will contribute to the search for new ways to develop Turkmen-Korean cooperation. The sides noted successful cooperation within the UN framework, including mutual support of initiatives aimed at achieving peace, security and stability.

The countries have achieved a fruitful partnership in the "Central Asia - Republic of Korea" format. The 16th meeting of the Forum in this format is scheduled to be held in Ashgabat in November this year. In the course of the conversation, the sides emphasized the special importance of the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as mutual high-level visits.
