Turkmenistan and Malaysia develop cooperation

On August 17, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Malaysia M. Mashalov held a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia Tan Sri Dato' Johari Abdul. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the sides emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Turkmenistan and Malaysia. According to the diplomats, inter-parliamentary cooperation is the most important tool for ensuring fruitful relations and international partnership based on the principles of mutual understanding.

Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia Tan Sri Dato' Johari Abdul during the meeting expressed interest to pay a working visit to Turkmenistan before the end of this year. The Ambassador noted that mutual visits are important in expanding and strengthening interstate ties.
