Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan agreed on a partnership program

The delegation of Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan headed by hakim Khojamyrat Ashirmiradov held talks with the leadership of Mangistau region of Kazakhstan on August 28. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the publication Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The meeting with Akim of Mangistau region Nurdaulet Kilybay was devoted to the discussion of key areas of cross-border cooperation between the two regions.

The main result of the negotiations was the agreement of the program of strategic partnership development for 2025-2027. The document defines specific steps to deepen cooperation between the neighboring territories.

Hakim of Balkan velayat noted that the expansion of regional partnership fully corresponds to the political course defined by the leaders of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in the development of cooperation. The participants of the talks expressed their readiness for practical implementation of joint activities aimed at strengthening cross-border interaction and friendly relations between the regions.
