Prospects of Turkmen-Pakistani cooperation in financial and economic sphere discussed

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Pakistan A. Movlamov held a meeting with Pakistan's Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb to discuss bilateral cooperation in the financial and economic sphere. Arzuw.news reports with reference to Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The meeting was held on August 11 and was devoted to the current state and prospects for the development of partnership between the two states. The participants of the talks emphasized the friendly nature of Turkmen-Pakistani relations and expressed mutual interest in deepening cooperation.

Central to the agenda was the discussion of accelerating the implementation of the TAPI project - Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline. The sides also addressed the issues of expanding trade and economic ties, stimulating mutual investments and creating favorable conditions for business activity.

At the end of the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to developing fruitful partnership for sustainable socio-economic growth and strengthening mutually beneficial ties between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
