Participants of the Turkmen Film Festival visited Ancient Nisa

Guests of the international film festival, which has been held in the city of Arkadag since October 14, visited the capital of the Parthian state - Ancient Nisa, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. This is reported on the website Centralasia.news.

The guests of Turkmenistan were introduced to the oldest surviving architectural objects. In Nisa, a unique historical monument near Ashgabat, the walls of the ancient palace, the thickness of which reaches 9 meters at the base, are still standing. The tour participants were told about the artifacts found here - ivory vessels with carvings, ceramic products with paintings, white marble sculptures, fragments of frescoes.

Ancient Nisa is a unique historical cultural monument. 2300 years ago this city was the capital of the Parthian state. Since 2007, the monument has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
