The World Children's Day was widely celebrated in Turkmenistan. Many Turkmen educational and public institutions made active preparations for this event.
Exhibitions were organized everywhere in the country, where the best works of children's fine art were displayed. In retail outlets and stores, brightly colored original national toys and handicrafts were offered for sale. Masters of applied arts managed to surprise both adults and children with wooden dolls in painted traditional Turkmen clothes, luxurious headbands, elegant holders for hot dishes, oven mitts, lace napkins and other items that were in high demand by visitors to the fairs.
The doors of entertainment institutions of the country were wide open to everyone who wanted to watch concerts of amateur and professional artists, take part in sports duels in martial arts, sing your favorite songs at karaoke, and look through new books by classic and modern writers. The kid's holiday was a success.
