On January 13, at a meeting on the digital system, Serdar Berdymukhamedov heard a report from Deputy Prime Minister M. Mammedova on preparations for an international conference on the main directions of tourism development in Turkmenistan, which is scheduled for March 20, 2023. During the forum it is planned to acquaint foreign participants with the tourist zone of Avaza, unique natural and cultural-historical monuments and museum artifacts. Foreign guests are also expected to participate in large-scale events on the occasion of the International Novruz Day, the holiday of spring.
In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of building modern tourism infrastructure in the country, which is one of the most important factors in strengthening cooperation with foreign partners.
