A children's creative contest was held in Turkmenistan on the occasion of Neutrality Day. More than 150 works of students in grades 4-11 were submitted for the contest "Peace: the voice of our children.
The contest was organized by the editorial board of the children's publication Gyunesh, the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization, the Peace Foundation, and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. Makhtumkuli, the Peace Foundation and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The works of schoolchildren were presented in the form of colorful picturesque drawings, literary essays about Turkmenistan and models of different materials. The jury selected the best creative works in three categories: models, essays and drawings. The winners, who expressed in their works their love for their native country, received memorable prizes and gifts.
The aim of the contest was to find creatively gifted children. The works of the winners can be seen in the publication "Gunesh".
The country celebrates Neutrality Day every year on December 12.
