The Turkmen Academy of Sciences held a conference on the introduction of new food technologies

On the eve of World Health Day, the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan held a forum on "New food technologies aimed at preserving the health of the younger generation". This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The conference speakers were scientists from leading universities of Turkmenistan. The issues of the benefits of healthy nutrition, specifics of the diet for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, use of Omega-3 supplements to slow down aging processes were raised.

Head of the Laboratory of Food Technologies H. Muhammetgulyyeva told about the contribution of laboratories of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in the introduction of food technologies in the country. The main activity of the laboratories is to study the quality, caloric content, processing and proper storage of food products, environmental safety of the produced products.

Speakers at the conference revealed the benefits of children's yogurt, the nutritional value of marmalades, and the special role of vitamins in children's development.
