Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea gives new impetus to the relations between the two countries

Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea met in Ashgabat on October 31. According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues.

The high level of Turkmen-Korean relations was noted at the meeting. The importance of regular contacts at the highest level was emphasized. The economic partnership is of strategic and long-term nature. The sides discussed promising joint investment projects in industry, energy and transportation.

At the same time, a significant potential for further cooperation in the humanitarian sphere - primarily in the field of education, science and health care - was noted.

The talks resulted in the signing of a number of bilateral documents designed to give a new impetus to the multifaceted cooperation between Turkmenistan and South Korea.
