Young translators of Turkmenistan are invited to the competition

A competition for young translators is being held in Turkmenistan. One can apply for participation in the age categories of 14-20 years old and 21-35 years old. The contest is aimed at improving translation skills among university students and young people, deepening knowledge of foreign languages and familiarizing the young generation with masterpieces of world fiction. This is reported on the website of the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The contest is organized by the Velayat Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, "Miras" training center and the editorial board of the periodical "Maru-şahu jahan".

The contestants are tasked to translate a short story or fairy tale in English or Russian into Turkmen. Translations are accepted in the editorial office of "Maru-şahu jahan". To participate, contestants should attach information about themselves. The results of the contest will be summarized in August this year.
