On Wednesday, November 9, a regular meeting of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan was held, at which new packages of bills were considered and adopted.
These include bills concerning the circus and circus arts, the activities of notary companies, and local government procedures.
The accession to the additional protocol of the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods was also considered and accepted. This protocol regulates the procedures for the use of electronic consignment notes. Another topic was the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications, which in European states refers to higher education.
Also at the meeting adopted amendments to the Tax Code, the laws on defense and military duty.
