A two-day forum on attracting investors to Turkmenistan has started in the UAE

A two-day International Forum on attracting foreign investors in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan started in the UAE capital Dubai on April 26. This was reported by the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

The organizers were the Turkmen concerns "Türkmengaz", "Türkmennebit", "Türkmengeologiya", "Türkmen forum" together with the British company "GaffneyCline". The forum is attended by major energy companies from Turkmenistan and more than two hundred specialized companies from foreign countries, experts of the oil and gas industry.

During the two days the issues of efficient use of natural resources, market development and attraction of investments into oil and gas industries, productivity increase, introduction of environmentally friendly production and know-how will be discussed. Experience and technologies will be exchanged.

Special attention will be paid to further development of the promising "Galkynyş" field, attraction of investments in offshore blocks No. 21 and No. 23, West Cheleken.
