Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Mukhriddin, who arrived in Ashgabat to take part in inter-midwestern consultations, met with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
During the meeting, the sides emphasized that the friendly countries have achieved constructive bilateral cooperation in the political and diplomatic sphere. Effective cooperation between the countries in the multilateral format has been built on the basis of strong relations.
The head of Turkmenistan noted the dynamics of trade and economic partnership, as well as the increasing pace of cooperation in cultural, transport, educational and other spheres.
The parties expressed confidence in the need to expand interaction between the countries of the Central Asian region.
