Implementation of EU projects and programs reviewed in Ashgabat

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with Deputy Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, Regional Cooperation and OSCE of the European External Action Service Luc Pierre Devigne in Ashgabat today. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the sides discussed issues related to the implementation of projects and programs of the European Union, organization of mutual visits and joint events. In addition, the sides discussed the issues of holding the next ministerial meeting in the format "European Union - Central Asia".

The activities of the Erasmus + Program were also touched upon during the meeting. Attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the transport sector and the upcoming Investors' Forum, which will be held on January 29-30 in Brussels.
