Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Armenia M. Ayazov met with the head of the Department of Multilateral Policy and Development Cooperation of the Armenian Foreign Ministry David Knyazyan. This is reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.
The sides discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation within the framework of international organizations. Armenia expressed support for Turkmenistan's resolutions in the fields of energy, transportation, as well as for the proclamation of the International Day of Neutrality, the International Year of Peace and Trust, and the World Day for Sustainable Development.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan invited Armenia to join the Group of Friends of Neutrality for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development. The Group advocates multilateral dialog on the application of the principles of neutrality to prevent conflicts and resolve humanitarian issues.
