Turkmenistan and Poland held political consultations

Representatives of the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Poland held inter-ministerial political consultations in Warsaw on June 17. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The delegation of Turkmenistan was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Akhmet Gurbanov, while Deputy Foreign Minister Marek Pravda spoke on behalf of Poland. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of interaction in political and diplomatic, cultural and humanitarian, trade and economic spheres.

It was noted that special importance is attached to strengthening cooperation in trade, economic and social spheres. The interlocutors emphasized the need to expand the legal framework. The possibilities of creating a Working Group on Economic Cooperation were considered. As a result of the meeting, the Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries for 2025-2026 was signed.

Akhmet Gurbanov also had a meeting with the Chairman of the Committee of the Organization of Cooperation of Railways Miroslav Antonovic on the issues of increasing bilateral cooperation.
