President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the forum participants on the start of the International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2024" organized in Ashgabat, TDH reports.
In his congratulatory message, the President of Turkmenistan notes that independent Turkmenistan, possessing colossal hydrocarbon reserves, seeks to utilize natural resources not only in the national interests, but also in the interests of other peoples of the region and the world, and in this regard, consolidation of efforts is the main factor in achieving the set goals.
In his congratulatory message, the head of the Turkmen state recalled the recent launch of major projects in Mary province - laying of the Serhetabat-Herat section called "Arkadagyň ak ýoly", which is the main link in the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project, and "Şatlyk-1" gas compressor station, designed to support regional energy security, contribute to the well-being of the peoples of neighboring states and countries of the region and form a sustainable economic environment.
The President of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that the international conference and exhibition will play an important role in the exchange of experience and opinions between domestic specialists and foreign partners, and in establishing broad cooperation in the future.
