A delegation from Turkmenistan arrived in the United States on a working visit to meet on strengthening cooperation in the spheres of economy and ecology. On November 6, 2024, talks were held at EXIM Bank in Washington. About it reports Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen delegation was headed by Rakhimberdi Jepbarov, Chairman of the Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Turkmenistan. The U.S. side was represented by Richard Duke, Deputy Special Envoy for Climate, U.S. Department of State, and Reta Joe Lewis, Chairman of the Board of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
The parties discussed a number of issues related to joint work on projects in the field of implementation of "green" technologies and in the field of combating climate change. Attention was paid to joint implementation of infrastructure and energy projects.
