Metrologists from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan met in Ashgabat

Specialists of the State Reference Center of Turkmenistan took part in a meeting with the delegation of the State Enterprise "Uzbek National Institute of Metrology" in Ashgabat. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

During the meeting, held within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the institutions, Uzbek metrologists presented the activities on implementation of calibration services and quality management system in accordance with ISO 17025:2017. Consultations were held on the development of metrology infrastructure and legislation in this area. Colleagues from Uzbekistan were interested in the standard for the production of standard samples of grain moisture content used in the acceptance of products.

At the end of the meeting the Plan of joint activities on scientific and technical cooperation in the field of metrology for 2024 was signed.
