Events dedicated to the works of the Turkmen poet are held in Japan

The University of Tsukuba in Tokyo hosted educational events and an exhibition dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi. This was reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".

Students and pupils of Japan took an active part in the events organized on the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan. During the educational event at the University of Tsukuba, Turkmen student M. Geldiyeva gave a speech on the main directions of Turkmenistan's foreign and domestic policy. The speech of Osaka Keku University student Sh. Shamuradova was devoted to the humanitarian views of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. After the speech, the student recited poems by the great Turkmen classicist.
