International exhibition in honor of the City Day started its work in Ashgabat

The XXIII International Exhibition "White City of Ashgabat" opened in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in connection with the celebration of Ashgabat City Day. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".

More than 160 public and private companies from Turkmenistan and foreign countries participated in the exhibition. The exhibition is dedicated to construction, architecture and design, urban master planning, technology, and green development.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the Government, heads of the Mejlis, employees of relevant ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, representatives of public organizations, media representatives, residents and guests of Ashgabat.

In his address to the guests and participants of the exhibition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that this large-scale event was aimed at demonstrating the industrial, cultural and educational potential of the Turkmen capital.
