During the meeting, Abdolmajid Kamju handed the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan a consular patent, and B. Myatiev handed the new diplomat a consular exequatur and wished him good luck in the field of diplomatic work.
During the talks, the sides discussed ways of developing relations in political and diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres between IRI and Turkmenistan, development of trade and provision of consular services in the provinces of the two countries.
The sides also touched upon the development of cooperation in the fields of transportation, energy and trade, as well as the development of regular ties in the border provinces of the two countries.
