Head of Turkmenistan paid a working visit to Akhal province

As part of his trip to Akhal province, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the construction sites of two large textile complexes in Babadaikhan and Kaahki districts. Both facilities envisage a full cycle of works from processing to production of finished goods, and the commissioning date is 2021.

The head of the state also toured the arable land, which is sown with high-yielding varieties of winter wheat. It is planned that about 400 thousand tons of grain will be harvested in 2020 thanks to modern John Deere, Case and Claas machinery.

During his visit, the Leader of the Turkmen nation visited the "Ahalgallaönümleri" bakery, where he discussed with representatives of the regional authorities about the ongoing mowing season and talked to the participants of the grain harvesting work. One of the harvesters (B. Palvanov) shared with the President his plans to harvest 40-45 centners of grain from each of the 23 leased hectares.

Earlier, the head of state familiarized himself with the situation of agricultural work in other regions of Turkmenistan.
