Today, a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS member states was held in Bishkek, which was attended by Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov. This is reported on the website turkmenportal.com.
Among the main issues of the meeting are cooperation of the CIS countries in the sphere of politics, economy and culture, current events in the world arena, interregional cooperation in the fight against terrorism and crime, as well as preparations for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
As a result of the meeting, several documents were approved for further approval by the Heads of State, including the Agreement on the Establishment of the International Center for Assessing the Risks of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing; the Agreement on the Establishment of the CIS Coordination Council in the Field of Forensic Expert Activity; the Interstate Program of Joint Measures to Combat Crime for 2024-2028. In addition, the Treaty on the Establishment of the International Organization for the Russian Language was agreed upon.
