The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan has expressed its desire to hold another exhibition of Afghan goods in Turkmenistan and other countries of the Central Asian region. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.
The Afghan leadership talked about plans to hold more than 30 exhibitions this year in Afghanistan and neighboring countries, including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Turkey and Iran. It was noted that this will contribute to strengthening trade and economic ties between Afghanistan, Central Asian countries and other states.
The exhibition will also allow Afghanistan to increase its export potential. Plans for a new exhibition in Turkmenistan are explained by the great success of the Afghan goods exhibition held in Ashgabat from March 4-6. A number of contracts were concluded as a result of the exhibition.
