Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's new book "Anau - Culture from the depths of millennia" has been published by the Turkmen State Publishing Service in Turkmen, Russian and English languages. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.
The book describes different stages of the history of Ancient Anau. Some chapters highlight the results of archaeological excavations and tell about valuable cultural monuments still preserved in the country's museums.
The President's work was based on the historical data collected by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as the results of archaeological expeditions of scientists Rafael Pumpelly, Vadim Masson and Viktor Sarianidi.
The publication of the book is timed to coincide with the events related to the announcement of the city of Anau as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World in 2024.
