The convoy of the motor rally "Caspian Sea - Sea of Friendship" passed through Turkmenbashi and Ashgabat

The convoy of the motorcycle rally "Caspian Sea - Sea of Friendship" led by Astrakhan Oblast Governor I. Babushkin reached the Turkmen-Kazakh border, where they were welcomed by customs officers, representatives of the consulate and the town of Garabogaz. This is reported in the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The participants of the motorcycle rally made a stop at the National Tourist Base "Avaza".
The convoy continued to Ashgabat, where a number of diplomatic meetings aimed at strengthening cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan were held.

Turkmenistan and Astrakhan Oblast have been cooperating for more than 15 years in trade and economic, scientific, technical and cultural spheres. Currently, the possibilities of unlocking the huge potential of the Turkmenbashi international port and the establishment of a logistics center of Turkmenistan in the Russian port of Olya are being discussed.

Further the route of the motorcycle rally lies through Iran and Azerbaijan. A youth forum will be held in Azerbaijan. Then motorcyclists will go to Dagestan, and the end of the rally is planned for April 11 in Astrakhan.
