Turkmenistan's oil and gas in the focus of global attention

The XXVIII International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2023" continues its work in the capital of Turkmenistan. The forum attracted more than 450 delegates from 45 countries, including major oil and gas companies and leading industry experts.

The discussion focused on the development strategy of Turkmenistan's fuel and energy complex, which envisages large-scale modernization of the production infrastructure, increased production and deep processing of hydrocarbons. Special attention is paid to the introduction of innovative technologies and solutions to reduce the carbon footprint and improve environmental safety of the oil and gas industry.

The prospects of implementing major transnational projects - construction of new export pipelines, development of offshore fields in the Caspian Sea - are also discussed. The issues of training highly qualified engineering and technical personnel for the industry are also discussed.

Turkmenistan, which has one of the world's largest natural gas reserves, is striving to take a leading position in the global energy market. Holding such a representative forum once again confirms the growing interest of global players in the potential of the Turkmen oil and gas industry.
