The progress in the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline (TAPI) became the central topic of discussion during bilateral talks between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Pakistan A. Movlamov and State Minister of Petroleum of Pakistan Musadiq Malik. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The Pakistani side expressed commitment to strengthening fruitful partnership ties between Turkmenistan and Pakistan. Also, Musadiq Malik noted that the TAPI project is one of the key tasks for Pakistan, and the country is making every effort to implement the project as soon as possible.
The minister added that he is firmly committed to further advance the TAPI gas pipeline project without slowing down the pace of its construction.
