The President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting on the digital system

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via videoconference with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Mr. T. Atakhalliyev and khakims of all velayats to discuss the current state of the agrarian sector.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev presented a report on the progress of nationwide agricultural campaigns, including wheat harvesting, cotton care, rice and sugar beet work.

Khyakims of velayats reported on the works carried out in the regions. In all velayats, harvesting of grain crops with full utilization of agricultural machinery continues. Inter-row cultivation, vegetative irrigation and feeding with mineral fertilizers are carried out in cotton fields.

In Akhal velayat, under the leadership of Hyakim T. Nurmyradov, potatoes and vegetable and melon crops are being harvested. In Balkan velayat, Hyakim H. Ashirmyradov ensures timely payments with grain producers. Dashoguz province under D.Babayev's leadership is reaping in an organized manner without losses.

In Lebap velayat, Hyakim M. Annanepesov coordinates the plowing of areas freed from wheat and the continuation of sowing rice. In Mary velayat, under the leadership of B.Orazov, measures are being taken to accelerate harvesting and sowing of sugar beets.

Construction of social and production facilities continues in all regions in accordance with the Socio-Economic Development Program for 2022-2028.

At the end of the meeting, the President gave instructions to ensure proper grain reaping and care of cotton fields in compliance with agro-technical norms, to keep under control the implementation of development programs and ensure quality completion of construction works. The head of state emphasized the need for a comprehensive approach to the development of the agrarian sector with the introduction of best practices.
