The President of Turkmenistan received the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan

Today the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister Murat Nurtleu. This is reported on the air of the news program Watan.

The topic of the talks was the development of long-term and strategic cooperation. In this regard, the effective and constructive interaction within the framework of the UN, OSCE, CIS, ECO and other authoritative structures was noted.

During the conversation, emphasis was placed on the broad prospects of trade and economic cooperation and the increase in mutual trade turnover. The transport and energy sectors were named among the priority areas of cooperation.

The sides emphasized that special importance is attached to the development of humanitarian cooperation through mutual holding of cultural days and festivals, expansion of contacts of creative and scientific intellectuals.
